Your
dive day starts with all of your gear on the boat and ready to
go. Every trip is guided by experienced Divemasters who know
Fiji’s waters inside out. Diver input is welcomed in choosing the
daily dive itinerary. The dive day is then molded around weather,
tides and the moon’s phase to achieve the most favorable
conditions for experiencing that day’s chosen sites. |

and leaf scorpion fish to larger
pelagics – sharks, mantas, turtles and giant grouper (even the
occasional humpback whale!). Rarely seen species and
extraordinary sightings somehow seem more commonplace here...

Kai
Viti’s 35 and 40 foot jet boats are fast and comfortable,
bringing
the Vatu-I-Ra Passage within easy reach of area resorts, where they
make daily pick ups. Their vessels each have a head for your
convenience and an abundant supply of fresh water for showers after
your dives. Generous camera staging areas help make photography prep
a breeze. The boats are clean and well organized, with a full
compliment of safety features including effortless water entry and
exits. Drinks, homemade snacks and fresh fruit are
offered
between dives, and sometimes Captain Mike even plays live music. At
the end of the day, your gear is taken back to the dive shop by Kai
Viti staff, carefully rinsed and securely stored until your following
day of diving.
From
Mike and Julie on down the entire staff is Professional, well trained,
and efficient, making the diving as effortless as possible. Divers
needing special attention are cheerfully cared for, whether it is help
adjusting their gear or a hand in dealing with the current when they
are tired. And even if you are the only diver on the boat, Kai Viti
won’t shortchange you by substituting less desirable dive sites or
rushing to finish early. Their outstanding service leaves you feeling
pampered, fulfilled, and planning your return trip even before you
leave!
