Daku Resort from Savusavu Bay

aku Resort is a cozy “upscale budget” resort on the shore of beautiful Savusavu Bay.  Each of the 8 bures and 3 family villas are set in beautiful tropical fruit and flower gardens on an old coconut plantation with spectacular views of the ocean and lush tropical mountains. Daku follows a gentle, relaxed way of life and you’ll soon feel like family.  Each bure features it's own deck, private shower and toilet, and all are equipped with ceiling fans, mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities. The three family villas offer kitchen facilities.  There is a good restaurant at the resort, and there are several others in Savusavu (a 20 minute walk away or 2 minutes by taxi), including Chinese, pizza, seafood and steak. Week-long holiday study courses are offered in writing, art, singing, quilting and bird watching – each taught by an experienced tutor from Australia.

he Hot Springs Hotel is Savusavu's premier bed & breakfast hotel- all 48 rooms have a superb view of Savusavu bay, the marina and the surrounding mountains. Rooms have queen beds with additional singles on request, tea/coffee making facilities & refrigerators. Connecting rooms are available - great for families. Daily tropical buffet breakfast (fresh fruit, juice, cereals, tea & coffee, toast, muffins & jam) is included in the rates.  The Hotel restaurant is closed for lunches, but there is a variety of inexpensive restaurants in town, only a two minute walk away. In the evening a BBQ on the deck is offered, featuring a selection of freshly grilled finger foods including seafood kebabs, fresh local vegetables and anything else in season. Enjoy a bottle of wine or draught beer brewed on site. Enjoy our String Band & Cultural Entertainment. There is also Satellite TV for those sporting events not to be missed.
